Dr. Aimee Hollander assistant professor of Teacher Education at Nicholls State, Dr. Pam Blanchard, Associate Professor at Louisiana State University, and Dani Dilullo Director of Education and Engagement at Louisiana SeaGrant were awarded a NOAA Bay Watershed Education Training Grant to provide a 2-year professional development experience to Louisiana Teachers. The professional development focuses on Louisiana-specific science phenomena such as subsidence in the state, the Mississippi river diversion, and regional climate change effects.
