During the annual ASTE International Conference, we held our Regional Representative Committee Meeting and determined specific supports that would further region work and membership. In this meeting, we drafted a motion to put forth before the board to explore regions having the capability of becoming a subsidiary of the main organization to help business functions of the regions if desired. The Board approved this motion and research is being conducted to present at the March Board meeting. We are also developing a shared folder for resources for the regions and scheduling share sessions for regions on particular topics, as needed. The first session will be training from John Rhea on how to update the ASTE page for each region. The regions are looking forward to supporting one another’s work and growing this year!
