Fifteen distinguished science teachers from across New York State have joined together to become the first cohort of the Institute in Practical Educational Science. The Institute, an initiative of the Association for the Cooperative Advancement of Science and Education (ACASE), is a community of science educators, already leaders in their respective teaching fields, who are now developing capabilities in educational assessment and evaluation and building innovative assessment resources for science teachers. The Institute was launched in August 2022 when the cohort gathered for the first time in Saratoga Springs. The initiative continues throughout the 2022-2023 school year.
We encourage you to read the full report on the Institute and its work.
